What We Do

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is a British Overseas Territory located in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 60 miles (97 km) east of Puerto Rico and immediately north-east of the US Virgin Islands (USVI). The BVI consists of around 60 islands, islets and cays, of which roughly 15 are inhabited. The four main islands — Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke — account for the majority of the population and all of the BVI's tourism infrastructure. The capital, Road Town, is situated on Tortola. The BVI uses the US Dollar as its currency, operates in the Atlantic Standard Time zone (UTC-4), and is accessible by air via Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) on Beef Island, Tortola, and by ferry from Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook in St Thomas, USVI.
